2nd Place Division A Chorus!

Profile Chorus, a chapter of Sweet Adelines International and a member of SAI Region 1, recently returned to the stage at Symphony Hall in Springfield, Massachusetts, with sparkly red costumes, a brand-new performance package, and a whole lot of sass!  

It's a team effort to weather the stress of contest preparation, and our Profile family takes that task to heart every year.  We've become addicted to the rush of our all-too-brief stage time -- the moments in which our name is called, the pitch pipe is blown, and the dazzling, white-hot lights illuminate the stage.  We have only six minutes to entertain the audience and show what we can do -- and then it's all over, until next spring. 

We are thrilled to share the news that our hard work and hours of rehearsing paid off in the form of a shiny new medal for us:  Second Place Small Chorus!

Profile is so very grateful -- particularly to our newbies, our veteran members, our coaches, our friends and families, our fabulous director, and, most importantly, to ourselves!   We believe in the power and magic of friendship, of harmony, of continuing to improve our singing skills, and of practicing these concepts on a weekly basis.  The results are something of which we can all truly be proud!

Profile Chorus is now in our 34^th year!      

Profile Chorus, a women's a cappella show chorus based in the southern New Hampshire area, provides entertainment, education, and enjoyment through quality singing of four-part harmony.

Our members receive ongoing instruction each week at rehearsals from Profile's certified director, Terry Neill, a highly accomplished vocalist who shares with us proper techniques on breath management, diction, resonance, and range building (to name a few!). We also receive several coaching sessions a year from professionals who teach us how to produce a great unit sound!

You don't need to read music or have a formal musical background to be a member of the Profile family.  Our vocalists are amateur singers from all walks of life -- women just like you! -- who perhaps sang in high school or college, who may have been away from singing for a while, and who wish to bring music back into their regular routines.  Year after year, Profile members agree that the joy of singing four-part harmony creates a strong bond which brings – and keeps -- all of us together!
