BMW is abbreviated as Bayerische Motoren Werke in german. In English, it is translated as a Bavarian engine Works company. BMW service to the automotive world by providing numerous methods and models to enhance the car’s world. It is a huge company that has its cars operating in a driver-centric model.
BMW has its roots in rap- Motor Work which actually started producing engines for aircraft. Which then turns out that it started producing world-class and topmost engines for cars. These cars then became every famous with the name BMW. These people who were a part of rapp for producing the aircraft engines did those work in the year 1913. Rapp is the company that supplied air force during the first world war. At those times during the earlier period s and at the times of war and all, there were no or less numb of automobile cars. These cars are very very rare that if one has to travel to a log distance then they have to take the train. Cars were very rare those days.
This rapp motors that produced engines for aircraft had Otis headquarters in the Bavarian capital in Munich. There were many factories in the bavarian capital in Munich that was producing air crafts for the world war. There was also one more company that was producing engines and aircraft parts for the aircraft that were used in the world war. This company was known as Gustav Otto Flugmaschinenfabrik. Otto company went bankrupt in 1916. After that to maintain its fame the Otto company changed its name to BFW. BFW stands for Bayerische Flugzeugwerke AG. After Otto company changed its name is 1916, the fapp also changed its name in the year 1917. It was named as Bayerische Motoren Werke, the abbreviated term of BMW. Sine the famous BMW has its origin in fapp, the logo of BMW and fapp also looks somewhat similar.
In the year of 1918, the BMW corporation was made public. That is it came into stock operation. But the saddest [part that happened to the BMW is that it has to stop its process of building aircraft engines since Germany was asked to halt the process of budding aircraft engines in the treaty of Versailles. So therefore BMW did not build any aircreaf6 engines rather it started focusing on building rail brakes and other built-in motors.
This gave BMW immense success. It was so successful that a berlin based famous automotive company known as the knorr Breese took the major ownership of the company in the year 1920. After that BMW moved to Munich and made that place their headquarters. So this company called knorr integrated with BMW. So the complete independent work of the BMW vanished as it coupled along with knorr. But this was only for some days.
In 1922, Camillio was the major investor in BMW took the majority of the BMW company’s shares. He took the company along with its employees and products. And made BMW boom again in its way. BMW because world-famous again without the combination of Knorr. It became a separate entity altogether.
